Statement of Intent
For years, I maintained blog posts on this site and the prior iterations (prior to the .dev domain) that were disingenuous. I felt like I needed to have something on my site as filler content to appeal to recruiters or for quick glances, but if we are being honest, besides bots and some acquaintances, I don’t think anyone has bothered to read them in their entirety.
Over the last couple of years, I have made many changes in my personal life to improve myself and reclaim some of my peace in the information era. I will keep most of that for the offline world.
Some of these changes have been taking time to digest works of literature, journal some of my thoughts, and reduce my reliance on big tech companies. I could list out a million reasons why you should probably do the same, but I wanted to reclaim some of my mental space.
I will call it “libre light”, with a strong emphasis on touching grass. Either way, throughout this year, I have been falling in love with things all over again, reading between the lines, and amplifying the level of intention I like to carry all the time (though I am still human).
I am using this blog post to hold myself accountable in the future. There are many mini epiphanies or small things that pique my interest, which I will likely share on this site to save people from random messages about a small historical fact in the middle of the night. This text holds the intention I want to put out into the universe, and hopefully my writing skills improve as well.
I was partially inspired by this YouTube video.
